This Gutermann Hand Quilting Thread is a 100% natural cotton thread that is perfect for your finest quilting projects. It will easily pass through several layers of fabric and batting.
The thread is a 40 weight, 3-ply thread that is perfect for sewers who prefer to work with natural fibres. It's strong but has a beautiful silk-like finish, with a wax layer that makes hand sewing easier. This thread should only be used for hand quilting and sewing as the wax will stick to the needle of your machine if used for machine sewing.
